I myself typed up a lengthy email to the NEAR-List outlining a few options going over various way to make the GT thing work (both at 30 minutes and 20). I had a number of people email me off list, including the two rider reps, and say they used the ideas in their proposals to the 'Head Guys'

Personally I have ZERO issues with GT's being 20 minutes. Nor do I have a issue with the other problems you seem to have with LRRS. Why you mad about the GT payout? Want to keep sandbaggin in Novice and get some cash

I laugh when people have issues with LRRS and other 'Club' racing organizations. You should try riding for a truely HORRIBLE organization like I have, at the NATIONAL level. Then you'll have a true appreciation for a well run club. LRRS gives me a smooth running race 8 times a year, I'm completely happy with getting that.

first off, i dont even know what the NEAR list is, if i thought that mt opinion would matter maybe i would. but as usual its just me complaining about something stupid.

im not "sandbagging" in NV. i WANT to move up. but i dont have a mon-fri job and getting saturdays off is IMPOSSIBLE. and since there are like 7 LW races on sat in AM and 1 on sun and vice versa for NV, if i want to race then i have to stay NV. otherwise im driving all the way up there paying a gate fee, and only racing one race.

its not just NV, that i have issues with. the fact that the only people that "pay out" are sponsers (mich., dunlop, etc) but NOTHING from LRRS. not in NV, AM, or EX. why? where does that money go? (and i mean aside from the top dollar they pay cornerworkers and such) but why not improve run off with that $$ (like 9).

the payouts im talking about (at least what CCS does) are peices of paper for trophy places that have a $$ amount that you can only use for LRRS (fees, races, etc) no actual cash out of their pocket, but if you won a GT race (a race you payed extra $$ for) wouldnt it be nice to win some (what i call) monopoly money that would cover the cost of that race so next weekend you could do that race for "free" and spend your "extra" $75 (cost of race) on something else like.. oh i dont know...another race that maybe you wouldnt normally enter or for that matter..... parts. even if you came in 3rd and they gave you "$25-$30" in LRRS cash, thats 25-30 less that you have to pay next weekend for that race. i just dont see the company giving back to its racers, thats all.

Oxx, unless your name ends in Wood or you know them well enough your opinions and needs will get you nowhere.

PS - they're going to bump you damn quick anyways so you need to deal with your schedule issue and STFU and stop being such a pussy.

Hey Novice Ptwin boys...

I'm happy I have a place to race fairly safely. I will be coming up either saturday during the day or saturday night every race weekend this summer. I was able to procure another projector!

I used to spend a good amount of time following the NEAR list. When I saw concerns expressed they only got attention if the name was well known around the playground. At least that's what I saw. Don't get me wrong, I like LRRS, but the governing members are a defined group. It'd take 25 little guys to be heard as loud as one guy that's known.

I'm curious to see if you'll feel the same after 7-8 years and still nothing has changed.

Its easy for the new guys to be supportive of a system they've only dealt with for 6 months. Lets see how the mentality holds up after years and years of it.

LRRS may not be all we would like it to be--but at least it it there, which gives us somewhere to race!!!!

anyone that doesn't like it is free to go race elsewhere!!

oh ya, there is no where else to go race, unless you want to drive all day to get somewhere else!

So shut the fuck up + be thankful for NHIS + LRRS !!!!!!!

That and LRRS makes sure that if you don't like it they'll make sure you aren't allowed to go anywhere else.

Banning people from Loudon isn't good enough for them

It's not really in my nature to complain. I'm pretty easy that way.If I don't like something, and I can't change it...well, too bad for me.

i understand the Wood thing. they are the only ones who can blatently break the rules and not get in trouble. if i pulled a 90mph standup knack knack on S/F line for the win im positive i would get fined and or suspended. but not them

i dont see them forcing me to bump up because that means less $$ for them. i cant race on Sat... PERIOD. cant be done... no way around it. just like YOU probably cant race on Wed. sorry i dont work white people hours. i dont call you a pussy for not skiing on Mondays with me..... why? because you have to work

Jeff isn't the only Expert who does wheelies and gets away with it. Why can Seniors in High School get away with more than Freshmen? It's hardly a situation unique to Loudon.

A wheelie does not bother me.

Here is an example of something that I would consider not fair. A certain someone gets a new bike and decides to run a race they had never done in their life and registers the day of the race, they are gridded in front of everyone on the track that had been running that race pre-regestered for the year. Regardless though, se la vie.
