They were, until we all raised a ruckus and said that'd be a bad idea.

Hey Lightweight Sportsman is on Saturday still, that's a good EX class.

Gt's are 20 minutes instead of 30 right.

Well, if any of you pansy had bumped up to AM I could brag about being pre registered and gridded in front of you.

The EX won't do well in LW Superbike. It's LW Sportsman and Ptwins for you.

Wasn't just the 'regulars' on the NEAR list that had issues with dropping GT races. Lots of people (myself included) came out of the lurking woodwork to speak up on that change.

Hey Novice Ptwin boys...

why didnt you complain about something prductive like keeping the GT races the way they were and actually paying out to the top 3-5 winners like CCS does since thats who LRRS claims to be in association with which is a bunch of crap

ive never seen a rulebook contradict itself as much as the LRRS one does

the simple fact that LRRS doesnt give ANYTHING back to its racers pisses me off the most though

Why don't you sign up for NEAR list and try contibuting to the solution instead of bitching about it on a Forum? I myself typed up a lengthy email to the NEAR-List outlining a few options going over various way to make the GT thing work (both at 30 minutes and 20). I had a number of people email me off list, including the two rider reps, and say they used the ideas in their proposals to the 'Head Guys'

Personally I have ZERO issues with GT's being 20 minutes. Nor do I have a issue with the other problems you seem to have with LRRS. Why you mad about the GT payout? Want to keep sandbaggin in Novice and get some cash

I laugh when people have issues with LRRS and other 'Club' racing organizations. You should try riding for a truely HORRIBLE organization like I have, at the NATIONAL level. Then you'll have a true appreciation for a well run club. LRRS gives me a smooth running race 8 times a year, I'm completely happy with getting that.

call the waa waa waambulance--"gobbles" is having a LRRS episode!

Pete--your dream IS reality--you don't have a racebike or a race license--which means NO RACES FOR YOU!!!

+ the EX won't do shit in LW Sportsman either--I raced my fzr4 in that class a few times + only finished 2nd-- + no way in hell can an Ex beat me!
Proddy Twins only--but since I'll be racing a GS500 in that class this year--the EX has NO Chance!!

Now that's a goal. Sandbagging to a novice win on a bike that's too modified to legally to run in the class it's in against riders with less race experience running Ptwins-legal bikes.

Hey Novice Ptwin boys...

I'm most bummed about the fact that I won't be able to watch the EPIC NOVICE PTWIN races that will be shaping up this season. Seriously. I was really looking forward to rooting you guys on and shit. Unfortunately being the last race on Sunday.... just not going to be able to sit around with the ladyfriend that long and live.

Will be definately on the fence for the LW Sportsman races thou. GTL too if you guys do that.

Shit, I would LOVE to race in the Amateur Lightweight Superbike class and try to win that whole thing. Alas, again it's just 'too late' in the day on Sunday to really sit around with the whole gang. Whatever races she doesn't come up to, I'm definately sticking around for LWSB and the Novice Protwins Battle.
