I have never heard of anyone saying "I brake when i feel its necessary, and when im chasing someone i brake a little later".
I hope you don't get hurt riding like this.
i was ajoking a little when i said that. i have braking markers i just dont know what they are until i get out there. i know it sounds like a stupid way to ride but i know that i brake somewhere between 3-4 into T1 depending on entry speed but when im chasing i know i can go as deep as 2 maybe later but i havent tried. i probably dont use the same thing that others use for markers (like cones and such) but they are out there and i know them when i see them. sometimes its just the scenery (a tree, a wall etc) i know a class would help but classes dont really fall into my scheduled life very well. when i can i will.
