No matter what Eric Buell does to make that bike competitive, it ain't gonna help that POS motor. When are they going to ditch the harley V for a competitive road racer with a wiser engine config.? Buell is the guy to do it, b ut being bound by harley V really sucks. They should take the clamps off his balls and let the guy build what he knows he is capable of. His engineering talents are being wasted.

Rumor on the Buells is they all had primary drive failures, the excuse they are using is they needed slipper clutches to keep driveline chatter from damaging the primary.

Sounds like their conversion to chain drive was not fully worked out.

Do all the bikes in FX have slipper clutches or do they have to put a slipper clutch in the streetbike to use it in FX? Only the R6 & ZX-6RR have slipper clutches right?

everyone but honda has the slipper.

the race was good. i got sunburned watching it. 68 laps imo was kinda drawn out. which bike was it that smoked like shit off the line?

i was really expecting the yamahas to kill the feild. i mean with all that big talk disalvo was making, and all there new technology. but at one point the announcer said miguel was 32 seconds in front of bostrom/disalvo (which ever it was).

the pace car in the rce was wacked. and is makin a big commotion now.

what happened to the buell having 150hp? must have been bogus cuz with that hp they would have murdered the other bikes.

i felt bad for this one kawi guy. he musta had the wrong gearing, cuz he was bouncing of rev limiter the whole time.

im sure honda has a slipper clutch... its FX.... anything goes. i promise you.. if Honda thinks it makes their bikes faster.. its in there.

now in the stock 600 class... thats a different story........

it was definitely an interesting race for a 200, that's for sure!

i thought the best moment was when the rider that caused the pace car to come out got out of the ambulance, they pointed a camera at him & he then proceded to give everything & everyone around him the double 1 finger salute .... and they kept the camera on him for a good 5-10 seconds while the comentators were pretty much speechless

Yah did you notice the guy who flipped off the crowd was the same guy who Aaron Yates drop kicked in the D200 last year? He seems to get himself on the camera really well with his crashes.
