Thanks bro... i'm STILL shakin my head about this one.... The more I think about it, the more I realize that luck had a LOT to do w/ those last 3 laps that lead to the win. If i hadn't lucked out the way I did, there was no way I was gonna catch em & take the checkered.


1 - Lap 5 (i think) Connor Joyce went down in turn 11... I seriously thought it was a lapper.... I had no idea it was him & I had just moved up to 3rd place.
2 - Lap 6 - lap traffic held up Tom & Mike
3 - Lap 7 - lap traffic actually HELPED me grow a pair & fuckin FLY into 3 (wanted to pass him before the braking zone so i could get a clear run at biggs)
4 - Lap 7 - biggs broke early for 3, opening the door for me to slip up the inside and SOMEHOW I was able to stay upright.
5 - Lap 8 - Tom ran turn 3-4 super wide, allowing me to scoot up the inside in 4
And finally, i had just barely enough energy & adrenaline pumpin through me to hold off Tom that last 1/2 a lap.... unreal.

Pete, just read your report on the other thread. I don't know if that was me you were talking about in T3 or not. Quite possible. If I held my line well, great - I may be slow but I ain't too squirrelly.

Saw some video my friend took of me in T3 in an earlier race. Dear me. There is much work to be done.
