I don't think anyone actually posted on NEAR, but people from the NEAR list do on occasion checkout our website . I had brought this to Degsy's attention yesterday regarding BJ's request for Degs to contact him offline.

They said at the racers meeting at the last weekend that "WE" are gonna be the show this year. So that said WebCrush is prolly right we are gonna have to pay a ridiculous gate fee to make up for the lack of any other income for them from that weekend.

On another note did they actually charge any of the national racers for their passes?

Has anyone seen the stands for the Classic weekend the last few years? The place was empty. Nobody was going to pay $60 a head plus parking to see a bunch of amatuer racers.

Hell, nobody wants to pay $20 to do that now.

As its been for the past 5 years, NHIS will only make money off the Animal hill drunks that pay to go up top during bike week.

I had a hobby, racing. I took it up a notch and traveled around with my hobby.

LRRS decided to deprive me of a hobby based upon THEIR mistake and then made sure I couldn't race any other CCS events either.

So, to answer your question--no, in any conversation about motorcycle racing, I have nothing say except to criticize LRRS in every breath I take.

Btw, you're obviously a newbie. I've been racing for 8 years now and used to be a staunch supporter of LRRS, volunteered time, money, etc. All that changed last year when LRRS and its staff showed that they were corrupt to the core.

Purse money have ALWAYS been put up by the Bahres, even when it was an AMA event.

Racing org puts on the show and promotes the event.

Track owners are responsible for purses.
