Asking the racers...

Degsy and Gerard,
Do you guys have any concerns about the track condition this weekend? After all the "Good 'ol boys" had their way with it this past weekend and it sounds like they might have been just a little rough in turns 3 & 4.

The track is going to have a 2 inch layer of rubber on it. This leads to great traction and less tire wear for us. Last year after the NASCAR event I was peeling strips of nascar rubber off my tires to reveal untouched tire underneath on my racing tires. The cars sometimes ripple the pavement a little but with the Ohlins suspension on my bike I won't even notice that. Gerard may have some problems with it but he tends to just ride through that kind of thing from what I have seen (the guy is a maniac like that :-))

The "marbles" (1/2 inch rubber balls left from the cars) are blown off the track prior to us racing on the track, so that should not be a problem either.

Looks like the weather is going to be awesome also. The predicted storms have disappeared and the weather is slightly cloudy in the 80's for this weekend.

Hee hee...yeah them too. But I meant the Winston Cup pussies. Why is it that the more money you pay professionals, the bigger pansie asses they act like? The track is fine. A lot of 'em just fucked up last weekend, and can't accept that fact. Fuck 'em! They're getting as rediculous as the AMA faggots...

Degsy
Yeah, I'd like to think that this weekend is gonna be perfect for racing. And it just may be in all the towns surrounding the track. But this is Loudon after all....

Ohlins

I would have an Ohlins also but I don't have a spring compressor. The spring on the Ohlins I have is the wrong rate for my fat ass . If any one can tell me how to change it I have the correct spring sitting here...

Let me know..

So I guess NASCAR is a good thing!! Awesome!! I was concerned about the RVs that parked in the bowl. They didn't park on the track but they musta been on it @ some point. Dripping who knows what. Also, think they'll be a lot of trash around?
