Yeah, what's up?! You could at least fill the rest of us in, ya-know!

I bet most of the track is under-water by now...

yup, no racing today... I guess they're kickin everyone out cuz the track's flooded again. Almost as bad as last time. I was told that water's shootin up outta the ground by the Penguin garage again.

I'm sure the guys that are up there will have more to say about it when they get back.

Oreo's race report

Yeah, I was concerned on my way up from manchester when I saw so many people on their way back. Went in and was told that everyonne's evacuating......GREAT! Glad I was pitted in 1a instead of the garages like last time. The place is damn flooded. Tunnels and all, we had to go around the track to the turn 10 gate to get in. Not the best of circumstances, but meeting svracer and finding out who hardcore, hberry and some others (sorry I forgot names)are was cool. THANKS FOR THE HELP! See ya next time!

Oreo's race report

It's pretty sad that this place keeps flooding like that...especially on a event weekend. This makes what, 3 times of a major flood of the infield?
It happened once during a nascrap weekend as well when there were heavy rains and the same dam broke as the one last fall... makes you think twice about camping in the infield

Oreo's race report

yeah.. i woke up at 6 am to "mumble mumble evacuate mumble infeild mumble water mumble" over the PA. about 6 times so i got up to see what was going on and we were surrounded by a lake. water in the tunnel had risen about a foot since last night and picinic tables and trash cans were slowly disappearing. a nice 3 foot plume of water was shooting out of the ground in front of the penguin garage and Kates said water was ankle deep in his garage. lots of overflowed rivers on the way home. i even saw a front end loader up to the windows in water in some guys yard.

next race weekend will be a big one if they plan on making up these races then

Oreo's race report

It was shitty indeed. The real killer is that I saw some blue sky poking through and thought today might be my day, but alas, no.

The thing I like best about this club is that everyone pitched in to help clear out today. My truck wouldn't start, so I appreciate everyone that gave room for the wrecker to pull me and my trailer out today (just added insult to injury). Before that, though, the teamwork in everyone getting everyone else loaded up was AWESOME.

I am so pissed that the Classic will be my last weekend with you guys. Much props again to the guys pitted around me in the trackside end (small numbers) of the Center garage (Broad Squad, Deb, Pete, Lorenzo, Kelly, Al, Alex, John, Bob, Dickie, Zack, Adam, Kim, Ralph, Garrett, etc.) You guys are the best.

I will miss you all, rookie though I may be, when I move down to the VIR area. BUT, running at VIR does offer some consolation...

Thanks!!!

I think I set that record for the slowest rookie race lap time!!! I was not going to have to do that race again!!!

During a practice when the rain moved in I went down in turn 11, wow it happened quick!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bike was fine, just my pride!!

I guess I expected to much out of DOT'z !!

The Track bike will be ready for the next weekend!!!

Heh. Yes, Pete and I had a nice little Sunday drive...

I called Pete at 11pm on Saturday night and he's like "What are you still doing up?" and I think to myself "Shit.. he still plans on racing.. fook!!!" so I say "Oh nothing... see ya at 5:45am..."
