Instead of studying fractures, ect, this is how those dumb phuckers should study the safety of helmets.

Test #1: Run head first into a wall wearing a helmet.

Test #2: Run head first into a wall wearing just a Harley-Davidson bandana.

Their argument is still that helmets cause your head to twist off your neck or cause you to be "hung" by your chin strap.

And they trot out car examples... where the body is fixed to the car and the head is not... hence the development of the HANS systems. Not sure what that has to do with motorsickles.
