Looks like we'll have some IPA, Country and BA up at the track. Nobody really let me know what to bring so I'm just grabbin what I'm bottling on Wednesday.

Just to confirm, I can get into the track on Thursday evening to came for the rest of the weekend, right? $30 to get in?

Also, who is going to be there thursday night? Jay, will your back protector be up there? Doesn't look like my Impact Armor will be here in time

Sorry for the questions, I'm just gettin a little nervous in the service since this is my first race weekend and all.

Still have to do:

Redrill oil drain plug (can't get SW through existing hole)
Clamp and SW cooland reservior cap
Put in a catch bottle ( guess I need one)
Get some bearings for the trailer and install (10 minutes)
Buy food
Get all my crap together
Buy another 2" ball for my hitch

Most of the bike is already safety wired. It was raced. I only removed the oil filler SW and drain bolt SW. It SHOULD be all set after that and what I mentioned above hopefully. If not, I'll be a busy beaver Friday night.

Any recommendations from you "pro's" out there?

And I think I hurt my shoulder pretty bad yesterday, ugh.....can't wipe my own ass but I think I can still ride fine. We'll see.

Perhaps I can swing out there on the bike on tonight or tomorrow night. I'll call you if needs be.

Arlington or Wilmington isn't anywhere near 495, is it?

I offered earlier in this thread.

I'm still planning on doing Thursday practice so if it's easier to get it to me, I'll do it. You guys work it out.

Mike just called from Impact Armor. He said I'll have my setup for this weekend. Jay, if you hear from me midday thursday, that means it didn't come in in time and I need to use your back protector. I can stop by after your class or something.

Jim, thanks for the offer, I just don't want to have to put you through more work if my IA comes in and I don't end up needing Jay's. You get a gold star for effort though!

WTF are drain plugs made out of???? I can't get ANYWHERE using cobalt drill bits. I really don't want to drain all my brandy new oil to take it to work tomorrow.

I found the cheaper drill bits worked the best.

Jim, by 'gold star' he means 'free beer'.

Clayton, not sure if you've got the back protector squared away, but you're welcome to use mine on friday. I'm right between exits 4 and 5 on 93, on the way to the track for most folks...I'll need it back for sat mornin tho...

How about I just give you some alone time with me in my trailer?

Chad, you are already on the beer list, you should know that!

I'm bringing 60+ country ale's right now, and that's just the beginning. Man I hope the floor in my ghetto trailer doesn't give way from z beer!

Got the drain plug drilled. Also found a spare and drilled that as well!

UncleFucker:

I found a spare coil. It's from a honda but looks very similar to the EX's. It's yours if you want it. I'll bring it with me.

Just gotta put in a "catch can", pack, more packing, get more beer, and then pack some more. Crossing my fingers that my Impact Armor will be in tomorrow....

Thanks yo, I got spare ignition coils though. What I don't have, I don't think, is that ignition pickup thingie. What the funk do they look like anyway? I got boxes of shit, maybe one of them is in there.

Ooh, wait, I know where one is

I would never steal parts from someone else's race bike, that would be wrong...

No really, it would be wrong, the pickup coil is different on a 94+, I just checked

Listen up there chapstick lips.........I will be there all weekend. I somehow got nominated to drive some shitbox RV up so I could at least have a bed to sleep in instead of a tent that you fuckers would safety wire closed and I'd have to tear my way out David Banner style.

I'll be heckling you all weekend!!

Plus I have a case to drink.
