 On the fence about doing the saturday motard race.Does anyone want to share an opinion of this race? Did anyone actually see it last year and if so what did you think? I have never done an actual motard race where it goes into dirt then back onto pavement and am wondering if this is a good place to start. Thanks for any guidance   |

On the fence about doing the saturday motard race.I watched it last year and those guys are flying. Do you have dirt experience? There's a video in the open session of some onboard supermotard racing to give you an idea of what to expect. |

On the fence about doing the saturday motard race.It will be nuts, that's certain. I agree with Jay, if you have dirt experience, go for it. If not, you might just feel dangerous out there. They are racing motards again on Sunday, minus the dirt and jumps. I'm not sure why they get 2 races, but that's the case. |

On the fence about doing the saturday motard race.I have dirt experience but those boys are fast and i have never done dirt on slicks. There is a practice on friday...do you think they would let me try the practice and see how it goes then if im comfortable with it reg on saturday morning or is this gonna be a "special" practice only for the people entered in that specific race? I'm definatly doing the sunday race and a handful of others. Thanks for the advice. I've been reading and writing in this forum for a while now and as far as i can tell info from you 2 is like gold. Maybe i'll get to meet you this weekend. If there is ever any info you have to share im all ears. By the way that video is sick. Good homework material for me.  |

On the fence about doing the saturday motard race.i dont know if you have to be entered in the race to do the practice, but if you do then enter the race and if it feels like too much for ya then tell them you blew up the motor and cant race and they will give you a credit |
