congrats man

one thing that I notice about you when looking at the results from last week, is that you were one of the most consistant ones out there as far as lap after lap, even with traffic. So keep it up man, once you find that one thing you need to do to drop down, you be going fast consistantly ... which is the key.

thanks Jamie, once I figure out where to make up the time I should be all set. will be working on it next race weekend.
Get to teach my first Rider's Edge/MSF class next week so that will pay for next month's racing!

Peter, did you already move up to amateur or are you waiting another weakend? I only have two more races till' ten but I dont know if I wanna follow Clayton around for a bit or move up after the next weekend. My fastest time is only a 27 and you and Clayton are doing 24's. Then again people in the Novice class just get in your way, so I dont know what I'm gunna do when the time comes. I'm also hoping that the tight turn ten will throw Clayton off and I can get a 1st place finish which I wanted to do before I move up.

See you in a couple weeks

The ten races is a standard. If you're running good enough times to compete in AM and you have the skills an e-mail to Don can sometimes get you popped up early.

I don't think you can count on a track change slowing Clay-Dawg down. He's fast no matter what curves you give him. Typically I am too, we'll see how well that holds true.

Well..........at this point.....the track change is all I got. Maybe before move up I should follow the "Clay-dawg" around in practice and he can show me the ropes to be an amateur with everyone elses skill.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm still counting on being somewhat competitive the next race weekend.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna be sending that advancement request in pretty soon.

Definitely get w/ Clayton beforehe goes to tech so you guys can arrange to be in the same practice group... I dunno if they'll put him in blue or not. I've obviously seen his lines & he knows what he's doin

I was planning on doing the Friday practice as well so it would be great if I could follow you around for a practice to see where you get the time.

I was following you around all of that GTL race until you had your coil problem and I thought you were going faster. This happened again when I was following you and Peter around all the Ptwins race up until I hit some motard traffic. I had some guy who apparently didn't want me to pass and I lost you two when he cut me off in 7, and I guess thats when both of you went off and got your 24's.

Hopefully I'll see you the first of September
