I faxed in my pre reg for the Sept 2nd and 3rd races a few days ago, is there any way of confirming that they recieved it(a number to call)?

Or do I just wait until the registration line for them to tell me they lost it/didn't recieve it?

No way to confirm. They have never screwed mine up, so just show up expecting that you're all set...

ABSOLUTELY CALL! They lost mine along with 14 others last race weekend. I was irate! Sent everyone and their mom up to the reg office to complain... nothing. Had to pay full price, sit on the back of the grid and didn't even get a jar of vaseline! See my race report, also in this section.

The number to call... the number listed on lrrsracing for "forgetting to hand in your transponder". Just ask for Betty or Wanda. Their great people, unfortunately the rest of the people in the office ruin it for the rest!

Your fax machine should store all sent faxes. Print out the report, it'll tell you if the fax was received. Bring the report with you.

I had a long talk with Wanda yesterday about several issues at NHIS, fax pre-entries was one of them. If you call ask for Wanda, but understand she has 11dybillion things to do. She will confirm it, but she may need to call you back. As Mike said print out the fax report and bring it with you. If you have any problems, see me in garage 19 south and I'll point you in the right direction.

Peter - Glad to hear you talked to those folks. Someone like me means, nothing... someone like you means something.

Good point about the fax report. Mike M. (rider rep) said the same thing... a print out will usually prove your argument. With that said, I sent my forms in the day after the last event... called to confirm... wrote down who I talked to and when... and then printed out the fax report.

werd, i talked briefly w/ Wanda today & she confirmed that she got my reg....

She also said that it needs to be in by MIDNIGHT 10 days prior (weds of the week before), not the end of the work day.

That was always my understanding. My guess is they come in, in the morning, grab all the registrations and start processing them in the order they are received. That's the theoryanyways. Someone in this thread can tell you they proved that theory wrong!
