Sure has.

He's also on a incredibly fast bike. Those Hammer bikes have been flying all year. Lots of Paddock folks are mighty impressed with them... quicker than the Factory bikes this year in a few places as well (like straights).

im with you on that. If I ever got my bike that low i better be ready for some serious road rash, and missing limbs....

Saving up for next season. cant wait to start taking more classes and get on the track.. Maybe one day I too can take corners with my elbows sparking!

Lets see in the three times I have been there on trackdays, Yes .39 was my best. If I use your logic in a real race I would have beat your best time! Remember I was on a old gsxr750 not a 1000 or a superbike. I would offer you to come race me there, but I don't think you should show your face around these parts anytime soon!

Good luck finding an extra 3 seconds to get near me.

Bike size doesn't matter there. Eric Wood riding his 1k SBKwas only a tenth of a second faster than his brother who was on a 600ss bike.

I've challenged you several times to come to VIR for a race, you've never shown, so you can stop pretending you'd ever show.

Ah.. not trying to get into this argument (so don't take it as such) but ah..

Fastest Race lap.
E.Wood - 27.9 GSXR1000
E.Wood - 28.9 CBR600RR
J.Wood - 29.1 GSXR600

Eric can't get that 1k setup worth crap either, CBR is handling much better. Main reason times are so close there at VIR. Jeff's 600 is pretty slow too for a SS600.

Just clearing up some info

NEWSFLASH Geoff May resigns with M4 EMGO for 2007. Many had him pegged for a Factory seat. Took himself out of the silly season early.

sorry, last i checked times were for the q session.

1 second between 80 hp tells me power doesn't matter much at all at VIR

But you claimed before - that you got down to 1:35 when you were at VIR prior to 2004. Check the date on this post from the old SpeedVision forum:

Isn't this the same corner too? These are amateurs from the second wave of a combined expert/novice GTU race catching and passing you? (excuse the lame thought balloon)

Again, not looking for a argument, but I already noted:

That's straight from Eric so... take it for what it's worth. Ironically enough, VIR SBK Race 2 was his best finish to date. heh. I agree VIR is no Daytona or Road America, notorious HP tracks, but it's not Pikes or Loudon either

Lets not kid anybody, its a pretty narrow and tight track. Its been known as a 125/250 type track for a while.
