Racing in Canada?

Anyone ever do it? I'm looking to head up next year and run Mont Tremblant. I have relatives up there and thought it'd be cool to go run up there and see what they got! How does the licensing work? Someone tells me they qualify up there too instead of grid by reg?

Racing in Canada?

I did a track day at Mont Tremblant, and guys there were saying that the only motorcycle racing done there is Canadian Superbike once a year. There is no club racing there. They also said that there were only 4-5 motorcycle track days there every year.

Racing in Canada?

HI guys,

Mt-Tremblant is part of the top 10 nicest tracks in North America. It's just amazing!!!! There are only a few track days organized there per year at around 250$ a day CDN. They only have one race weekend per year. It'S a National Parts Canada weekend and yes you have to qualify to race. They only take 31 riders in the amateur 600 + 5 promoteurs choice. But it is well worth the trip!!!!! Interesting contingency! www.lecircuit.com

We do have a SV cup at all our race weekends.

Mosport is amazing also! Near Toronto. www.mosport.com Only once a year also! You also need to qualify at all the Parts Canada National Series races.

Except for SV, we don't have enough racers.

I'm in for going up there for races or a trackday. The wife can do all the talking for she is French. They speak funny (old) french up there.

I have done Mosport and can tell you it rocks! It's a hp track though so big bikes have the most fun.

Lets do a caravan up there and have fun on a new playground.

Well, what the hell are we waiting for... seems to be lots of interest. Do they rent any of their tracks out? I just heard people down south are renting Barber out for $2000 a day for 8 people. Frick... we can rent the damn track!

No, Paul Lacelle of Ducati also organizes some track days, there was one today, you can go even if you don't have a Ducati.

Shannonville also rents out theyre track, they have 4 different configurations. http://www.shannonville.com/

Mont tremblant was really a great track. It was super fun until I crashed ..... But Team promotion rana great couple of days there, and it was very reasonably priced. And at only 1 hour from montreal it is a lot closer than VIR for a track that is about the same amount of fun.
