Thursday PracticeCould be that you can practice as long as you've just completed a certified race school w/in the last year & ya do'nt have to be a licensed racer? I think i remember hearing that somewhere. |

Thursday PracticeQuote: Also why would you want to practice there when you will never race there again. That's easy. It's F'ing fun! I'm not going to get my racing license, at least not for now. Where else can I go to ride like I can on a track, with some semblance of safety? I prefer the open practice set-up because there no passing rules, and I get to ride with racers who at the very least, are as serious about riding as I am. All around, a good, no, a great, low to no BS, riding environment. |

Thursday Practiceyeah, well good luck with that. Anyone who takes the class should get the license as soon as you can. |

Thursday PracticeMy question was for Adam, so i'll ask again why practice at a track that you'll never race at again. Are you just trying to see what you can get away with? Seems pretty stupid to me, but then again everything you do is stupid to me! ![]() |

Thursday PracticeThat's exactly what he's saying, but his dig wasn't at you, it was at Adam because he's been banned from racing LRRS... just more needless A.V. bashing that only makes them look like jackasses more than anything else. |

Thursday PracticeHow does one go about getting banned from racing? I can see if you do something to purposely hurt another rider but thats about it. |

Thursday Practicexxdcmast, relax, it doesn't involve either of us. This involves one other person, and all of his "fans". I have only peeked into some of the conversations on this stuff, and decided to stay away from it completely. That is why the other fellows are groaning a bit. They don't want those rather flammable topics to flare up again. If we relative noobies, just listen, learn, and be somewhat polite, those topics shouldn't affect us. |

Thursday PracticeOK, how about some things that ARE important. Thursday is looking like it will be a little cool, especially in the morning. What kind of tire pressures are you more experienced fellows going to start off with? I came from the OLD bias ply days where we monitored pressure rise {10 to 15%}. I have Pilot Powers on the old gixxer. What would be a good starting point? When I did the Penguin in Aug., they told us to set them at about 30 psi front and rear. I'm thinking a few pounds less anyways. I'm not worried about lap times, more about keeping my butt off the track. Any rules of thumb here? |
