Fuck this... I got too much shit goin through my head & I can't friggin sleep. The last thing I wanna do right now is get up at 6am, pack all my shit that I didn't get a chance to pack, drive to the track, try to fix my steering stabilizer that I forgot to fix and pay a hundred bucks or whatever just to ride for a couple hours & leave at noon to get back home in time to go to work....

Good call Pete, no sleep makes practicing useless and somewhat dangerous. Gotta be 100% on the track.

There IS actually one on my bike, because it was there when I bought it, but it is all the way loose and I don't think it does much.

yeah, it was on there when i got it too... right now it's just loose where it clamps onto the right fork leg. it's got electrical tape underneath it which I don't really like. I may just remove it if i can't get it snug w/ the tape off.

Hey if it makes you feel any better I didn't ride today either. Got stuck at the office for a bit then heading into the Track later than I liked. Just wrenched on the dirtbike and make sure the Hawk was ready instead.

I'm in Am/Ex but like I said I didn't show up till like 3pm. I was busying setting up tent, hanging up posters, fixing CR's clutch lever, replacing CR pads, and getting stuff ready before I go ride MX tomorrow morning then Penguin in the afternoon. Sorry :-/

oh man, now i remember. i was on your tail in 9 and 6 as well but couldn't do anything about it. turn 11 you'd brake way too much and i just coasted around the outside.

i think i did that a couple of times to you and then you didn't re-pass me back, i figured you pitted in.

6, 9, and 11.

You'd obviously motor me on the straight, but you'd let off and brake way early for turn one. Hold that throttle on till the 3 board and then honk on the brakes.

The motard is stupid silly fun out there. I'd hold the throttle past the 1 board.

I had a great day, Thursday. I just wanted to let you know it was nice to meet some of you. Let's see, I met Legalspeed, Saxman, gixxer6, maybe one or two more. It was nice to talk with you. I hope I made the right kind of impressions, as in I'm not keen on being some kind of asshole. I don't know if I improved much, but I don't see how you can't when you are out there. Way too much fun!! Aside from conversing here, I hope to see more of you folks next year. Had a good time bench racing with xxdcmast. Well gotta put the lights and mirrors back on the old girl, so I can do the commute to work. Hope you dudes who are up there now have a good crash free weekend.
