Novices in 2007?

Here's the '06 rulebook... http://lrrsracing.com/2006/2006_rulebook.pdf

But to make things easy for ya, to bump to AM you need 10 races in Novice and a .500 rider index (which means your finishes have to average in the top 1/2 of the field.)

a little antibiotic will take care of that drip, and the burning too. No need to be ashamed, we've all been there....except me.

10!! How many races should you do in a weekend?

So if I do one race a year it could take me 10 years to move up?

did your "uncle" Pat tell you that? Maybe sometime between the age of 10 and 12? or was it the 80 year old hooker in Chinatown Boston back in '82?

She's still around I hear....

I haven't been here in a while, but by the looks of this thread.. there's a lot of people doing the Penguin School in April and a few more that have already done the school and scheduling to do their rookie races! That's sweet! The more the merrier!

I'll be running Novice for probably the first weekend only. A little more money into the racing pit and a little advice from Peter and I'm hoping to hit the teens soon.

Pete - did this "Getting Started" class ever take off? I have a few people I'd send your way if you didn't! Story of my life... its not what I know, its who I know!

Pete - There doesn't seem to be any commitment from anyone in particular so I'd say mid Feb. gives people enough time to plan in advance. If you decide on that, I'll start passing word. If you want any help or need a volunteer, count me in... I'd be happy to help.

Don't neglect that there's a ton of experienced and somewhat new racers on this site, and we're all more than happy to answer any questions and help anyone.

KB... I have to ask... is that you in that Avatar? I can actually view this forum from work (unlike others) and everytime I come across a post from you I have to scurry past it so nobody sees it!
