BAH HA HA HA

Glad I only paid $100 for this thing!

No spark, so I pull the ONE bolt off holding on the side cover to get at the flywheel. Wouldn't ya know it, the flywheel nut is WELDED to the crank. Oh yeah, and the nut atop the triple tree? Same thing! Don't buy new bolts, weld them in place YES!

Hopefully I can yank the flywheel off easily and get spark. All it needs to do is run....

I have a goped that hasn't run since Heath rode it. Probably something easy to get it going that I'd let go for cheap if someone needs a pit bike.

Those things are deathtraps, nobody in their right minds would ride one.

How much?

I know this guy in the Air Force in Japan...

I was going to keep this a secret as the details are not worked out...

I think I can get NSR's and stuff shipped from over there.

Anyone interested?

Pit Bike Update:

Got front forks and tripple trees to replace the welded junkers on there: $36

Got an entire engine bottom including new flywheel, CDI ignition and tranny: $83

Other than a base gasket and head gasket, this should be all this thing needs!

So I'm up to $219 for a XR80 pitbike. Not bad!
