Good catch can

I'm trying to find a good catch can to set up my airbox. Needs two nipples, Gas tank vent to catch can, catch can to airbox. Must hold pressure.

Aluminum would be great, or high quality plastic.

Paul the best prices on aluminum I have seen are go-kart catch can's.

sorry i don't have any good catch can ideas for you but now i have a question.

why would a catch can need to hold pressure? mine sure don't....all of my hoses vent to the same none pressure holding plastic bottle.

some 2-stroke knowlage i have yet to gain? or is it a 125 specific thing?

You could easily tap a second hole in a location of your choice and thread a brass -fiting. This is a great price for a higher capacity catch can.

Evil, The can only needs to hold pressure if you have a "ram air" type airbox with intake scoop/duct out front. It allows the fuel to flow at high speeds when the box is pressurized.

Thanks for the lead Rye.

I used a perscription bottle and covered it in metal tape for duct work then black duct tape. Siliconed all the hoses to the top and viola' catch can.

I need to work on a belly pan before the season.

thanx paul. no ram air for me. for a second there i thought i was gonna have to revise my catch can system....i'm already up to my ears in 2-stroke tunning stuff printed off the internet and frankley i'm abit confused.

on the plus side i just started 2-stroke engine theory and operation this semester in school so by the time the season rolls around i should have a better grasp on it.

My advice would be to keep everything stock until you MASTER jetting and setting the squish. Optimize stock stuff so you have a baseline and can determine if a mod has helped or hurt. It's NOT simple to get more power out of these things.
