USGPRU at Miller AMA national!

Woot! The USGPRU has secured a race during the AMA national at Miller the week after the Classic! I'm going to go all out to get me and my bike out there for it. I'm going to need some real sponsorship though, so if anyone has any advise for me, I'm all ears. I have a few leads to pursue, but need more $$$$

OK, I'm going to have to "pass the Hat" this year. There's no way I can swing this myself. If you have some spare change, You can make a donation HERE If I can collect 3,000 dollars total, I'll make it to the big show in Utah!!! Any help is much appreciated. 728 Racing

Paul

Alrighty! I have secured a transportation deal for Miller and a few other rounds. My gear will roll in the Bruce Transportation Group transporter. Miller will be a fly in fly out event.

I'm going to sweeten this sponsorship deal a little bit by offering Pit Crew passes to the two biggest cash sponsors. Fly out there and experience the AMA event from the INSIDE.

The 125 schedule will be practices at 8am and 4 pm. Qualifying on saturday, and race at lunchtime Sunday.

That's pimp dude, way to go. I was doing some spying around on the USGPRU board the other night getting a feel for the riders / attitudes. Seems like good stuff. Was curious to know what their thoughts were on racing Loudon as well. Myself and a few others can't wait to watch those races during the Classic.

Hometeam!

THe USGPRU board isn't very active, but it's a much smaller org, so I guess it's pretty good. The attitude in that series is generally really positive. Their big events are really great, especially considering that they are organizing a big show with a small group.

After they ran Loudon 2 years ago, there was some feeling that it was too dangerous. I lobbied hard for it to return, but met with resistence. Steve at RSCycles is the driving force behind bringing them back. He supports them BIG with the RS125 giveaway. Props to him for getting them here. I think it's a very good (challenging and as safe as many others on the schedule) 125 track, and it's location makes for a big turnout. The race last time was fantastic, with ten guys able to run in the 17.0-15.7 range. I hope to set the pace, but I'll have to step up my game for sure.

Wow.. more than I thought. Impressive.

Yea I missed the 2002, 2003, and 2004 Loudon Classics (only ones since 1996 to present) due to racing the Mt. Snow Nationals (mtb downhill / mtnx). Whoops :-/

Hey! Larry Pegram stole my idea! But sponsor me, not him! Grassroots motorsports are more fun!
