Fit of Leathers.

I juat go tmy leathers yesterday and they feel really loose, I had to get a size 50 cause I so fuckin tall..........and they are loose in the ass, legs and arms. Normal?
The sizing fits good around the chest, waist and back.

Should I look into getting them altered?

How should they fit?

Oh if I got a small size my nuts would be in my throat.

Are you saying this is how they fit standing around... or when you are on the bike, in riding position?

I prefer the lower portion to be a bit loose on my leathers. Helps when actively moving around the bike, dragging knee, etc.

I don't like loose arms though. That can lead to the leather rotating such that the protection rotates off your arm. But too tight, and you can cause arm pump.

Loose when standing a bit tighter when in riding position.
Yeah I thought that the arms are too loose cause the elbow feels as though it would roll over. Same with the legs. I would like it to be a bit tighter, but like you said I don't want it to bunch up.

If you aren't a normal shape/size, it is very hard to get leathers to fit well that are normal # sizes. Best bet is to use tight fitting clothes underneith to try to take up the slack. Having the armor rotate off your elbow sucks in a crash, don't ask me how I know.

Also keep a queer eye out for any other racers your size. Hit them up for used custom made suits, they may have one layin around for cheap that would fit you like a glove. I just fell into one and I could of never imagined leathers fitting so well (and they aren't perfectly sized for me either).
