A quick wheel questionI have my #2 Wheels mounted with fresh tires. However I am short one pair of rotors. My plan was to swap the rotors over between race days. My question is if the rim and tire are balanced already.(without rotors) and then I bolt the rotors on will the wheel need to be balanced again or should I be ok Thanks |

A quick wheel questionIt's racing, not long distance riding. Balance isn't THAT important for a tire that will last you a weekend. |

A quick wheel questionYou will be all set. Rubber is a beast, therefore just produce it and we will balance it after. Steel is stable, little to no inconsistancies. |

A quick wheel questionTwo laps around the track and the rubber on your tire is probably throwing the balance off more than anything. I don't balance race or street tires at all and never have an issue. they balance them for me when they're mounted at the track but I still consider it a waste of time. |
