so for me, this was a breaking kind of weekend.

1. break sparkplug (well, it gave out)
2. break chain adjuster (thown chain in practice)
3. break water seal slighty (case bolt backed out!)
4. break trans oil seal slightly (tiny grommet not sealing)
5. break bank buying odds and ends
6. brake later into 3 (first good item)
7. break collarbone in a ladder accident.
..yet still manage to smile all weekend.

first amateur race didn't go so well. Crashed Out - Rider OK

Thanks to everybody for all the help and laughs. Thanks Tim for sticking around and driving me home. Please, nobody make a sad face for me, I feel just fine. =)

Heal up bro. You gotta make it back for the Classic!!! Don't leave that sling on too long, or you'll fight atrophy for months. Get moving as soon as things are stable. the bones should knit in a week or two. Until then don't push it!

I was helping my buddy from Plaistow paint his house, and like a dope, i slipped and fell from the 5th rung... racing would have been a tough less embarassing of a story.

a good thing is the collar bone heals relatively quicky from previous experience... I broke mine wrestling an alligator .... err I tripped over a wheel barrow while running away from my older brother... the ladder seems cooler now!

I had crooked shoulders till I broke the right and evened the mess out. One on a bicycle the other one I triped on a gopher hole. Yeah that's it a gopher hole!!!

Are you sure you didn't fall at your own house? Falling at your buddies house will be a mess when your health insurance company starts looking for someone to recover expenses from. My wife stepped on some shattered glass in our kitchen and went to the emergency room to get the glass cleaned out. About 4 months later we get a form to fill out and sign wanting to know exactly where it happened if it didn't happen in the home.

So whatever happened, make sure it happened at your house.
