Dumb question, Classic related

So on the LRRS website they put up the purse amounts for the feature races. They have 2k showing for Thunderbike, payout goes down to 6th. Is that based on class? Meaning there is 2k for each AM and EX or is it paid out for overall finish?

That means top 6 get paid, whether the top six be AM or EX. So basically the AM's get dick.
