Attn: LRRS Ducati Riders

Lil something extra we cooked up for you boys this weekend.
--------------------------------------

Attention LRRS Ducati racers:

Racers,

It’s our pleasure to announce, in addition to the full lineup of activities for Ducati Revs New England, an added incentive for the LRRS Ducati racers. These extra items will be based around two races over the course of the 83rd Loudon Classic weekend, specifically Expert Supertwins and Amateur Ultralight Superbike.

This is a way for us to thank all of the Ducati racers at Loudon who maybe don’t always reap the contingency awards, but are out there weekend in and weekend out flying the Italian flag. These prizes will be focused towards the guys a little bit more off the radar and also encouraging all Ducati riders to enter these two races and really make some thunder!

1) Saturday, Race #2 - Expert Supertwins:
The top two finishing sub-800cc Ducati motorcycles (water or air-cooled) will receive a pair of Oakley / Ducati Corse sunglasses. Award will be presented during the nightly trophy ceremony.

Ie: 620, 695, 748, 749, 750ss, 800ss

2) Saturday, Race #7 – Amateur Ultralight Superbike:
The top finishing Ducati motorcycle in Amateur Ultralight Superbike will receive a gift certificate good for one enrollment session with the Penguin Roadracing School. A great way to get extra track time and get your laptimes dialed in before the jump up to the Expert ranks! Award will be presented during the nightly trophy ceremony.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you out there. If you have any specific questions regarding the above information, please contact either Jay Routhier #7 or Alex Dunstan #434. Good luck and good racing!

Hmm...

Step 1 - Buy scottieducati's bike, keep experts number plates.
Step 2 - Beat lots of experts by riding 25 second faster laptimes than I ever have in my life.
Step 3 - STYLIN

It's an airtight plan, if I say so myself.

Eric Wood To Race NCR Ducati At Loudon Classic This Weekend News Article // RoadracingWorld.com

Eric Wood To Race NCR Ducati At Loudon Classic This Weekend
Jun 13, 2007

From a press release issued by Cliff's Cycle Revolution:

Eric Wood to Race NCR Corse Millona “One Shot” at the 84th Loudon Classic

Loudon, NH – Ducati enthusiasts know of NCR/Poggipolini Group as the small Italian manufacturer of exotic aftermarket race components for their Bologna Bombers. But this weekend, Loudon Classic race fans will get to know NCR Corse for a very purpose built track machine known as the NCR Millona ‘One Shot’.

The Millona will be piloted by local favorite Eric Wood. Eric has ridden and won on just about everything. He is a permanent fixture of the New Hampshire International Speedway, in particular with the Penguin Racing School. Bruce Meyers, a passionate supporter of motorcycle racing and a hallowed Ducati tuner will get Millona running to Eric’s specific needs and put him in the ideal condition to race and win!

“I’m really looking forward to riding the NCR Millona”, said Eric. “I have read a lot about their bikes and marvel at their abilities to transform the Ducati 2-valve engine. The NCR ride was put together just 2 days ago but Bruce and I will be ready to give the bigger bikes a tussle. This is a tremendous opportunity and we want to thank NCR Corse, Cliff's Cycle Revolution and Ducati NA for putting this together."

The Millona sports the recently developed 1200cc version of the Ducati 1000DS 2 valve engine. Although it was most recently clocked at 182mph on the banks of Daytona, Eric will certainly take advantage of Millona’s 121 rear wheel hp and incredible light weight (270 lbs) to maneuver around NHIS’s more technical track.

NCR has become more notable in the North American market since the unveiling of ‘New Blue’. This commemorative limited edition track-only bike was commissioned by Ducati NA in tribute of Cook Neilson’s 1977 Daytona victory on a Ducati 750SS - known as OLD BLUE.

NCR Millona, NCR ‘New Blue’ and NCR Corse race components are entirely hand built and sold through Cliff's Cycle Revolution, New England’s exclusive NCR dealer. Anyone interested in the ‘NCR Millona Customer-Race’ program can contact Cliff’s to order their personal Millona. ‘Customer-race members’ receive priority for all new products introduced by NCR.

About Cliff's Cycle Revolution – Incepted in 2003 as New England’s destination motorcycle store, Cliff’s is full service BMW, Ducati, MV Agusta and NCR Corse shop focused on complete rider satisfaction. For more information call 203-798-2779 or visit Connecticut BMW Aprilia Ducati MV Agusta Motorcycle & Scooter Dealer - Cliff's Cycle Revolution

Yea. I'm sitting next to that bike now. You owe it to yourself as a motorcycle fan to come by Garage 1 and check the NCR "One-Shot" out.. It is a piece of art!
