We need help fixing bent rims on our SV!

My Husband hit the the asphalt lip at the exit of T3 this past weekend. He popped the rear tire and bent the rim, but the front tire kept the bead but bent the rim worst than the rear! He did the superman save, thank god, but now we are left with 2 bent rims.

Is there advice out there for us! Can we get the rims fixed?

Thanks,
Megan

PS did anyone get pictures of this incident, it was in Fridays practice?

Not sure if theyll be able to do it but my buddy uses rimpro for his car.

I think it would cost about the same as a new set of rims though.

+1 for rim-pro if they even repair motorcycle wheels (i can't remember if they do or not).

But then craigslist and flea-bay may have something. Oh and don't forget svrider.com

There was a set of black rims for sale recently at SVRider.

I personally bought my second set of rims from Ebay.

Paid a buck and a half for front one with great rotors and 175 for the rear with sprocket and rotor.

Deals are there, just got to be prepared to walk.

The black ones will be the most expensive ... I got gray ones from
a 2003 and 2004.

I second MC Wheel... I don't think RimPro does Motorcycle wheels.

But Rim and Wheel Works does them now too Repair, Sales, Straightening - Rim and Wheel Works

That is a hell of a good deal ...

You need a second set anyways and there is no guarantee that MCWheel
can fix it. I don't think they charge you if they can't.
