I rode with TPM all of last year. Good org and a good group a people. Same basic structure as most of the trackdays i've been too. Somewhere around 3 sessions in the morning and 4 after lunch. They don't do lunch like Tony's or LAPS, so you'll have to bring your own. They also have their own parts "club" so they have a trailer at the track with quite a bit of spares, tires, gear, etc...think Street and Comp trailer. And, if you contact them ahead of time you can rent bikes from them....if I remember right, varying from SV's to 600SS's to Duc's...prepped and ready to go for you.

They did lunch at Calabogie, and they didn't have their parts truck there. There was a company called turn two that was selling tires and there was also someone there with a fleet of GSXR's renting them out. Good prices on tires, it would be worth buying there. Whatever you may need, bring it with you, there is no running water, electricity, or shade. There are the biggest fucking mosquitoes I've ever seen.

if you drive up to canada you will not need passport, it only applies if you are flying. but I do think we are asking for both driver's license and birth cert now.

Well from what I am reading now, it seems that is only for flying... so i guess the terrorist and bikers can just drive in. 2008 will require people driving to have a passport

WOW WOW WOW, I just got back from 2 days at Calabogie. Totally cool track. Very smooth, no hard braking, always turning, 3 straights, very low speed corners and very high speed corners.

Everybody was such in a hurry to go fast, I've never seen so many accidents in 2 days. Not even at Loudon!!
All street guys though.

Well worth the trip boys.

It's a very technical track and the street guys are trying to go super fast going in or coming out of the turns or just hit the brakes after going as fast as possible in the straights with their 1000cc, most of them just highside or crashed into each other. The track is so wide, the lines can be so different from one street guy to another.

+1 When I was there everybody was in a hurry to get up to speed to soon. There were a lot of drag racing idiots, the ones who think it's a race. It's a long track with a lot of turns, so plan on losing the first day just trying to get an idea where the track goes after the next corner.
