How not to practice starts?

Wow, I better get my launch control checked on the GS...

...Yup, still an air cooled 500 twin based on 70s tech, no launch issues there.

I didn't realize they were using fully electronic launch assist... kinda takes the thrill out of starts. Instead of quick reaction times and skilled clutch modulation, it's who can dump faster and hang on. Guess it's more luck than anything when rider X gets a good start off the line now.

That vid is a hoot!

I don't know how much truth there is to the fact that they can just dump the clutch and hold it pinned. If that were the case, no one would ever botch the start, yet they still do...

I can't see the movie (stupid work) so they may have covered this, but I believe it is because some guys still don't use it.

Every Sat and Sun morning practice, the lower pit has cones set up to practice your starts. I had done it every time I went out for practice this season and it has helped alot!

I still remember your wheelie from the start this year Chris...you needed a 12 o'clock bar for it. Nice though, looked good from the corner of my eye.
Don't do it in Daytona!
I'll be watching the results from up here - in the cold weather.
