Newbie racers unite!

Well doc's idea for the 1A people got me to thinking. There seem to be a good number of people starting racing next year. As we all know it is no cheap task no matter what class you start with. I thought It might be beneficial for all of us to figure out what tools/ equipment we have and pool it together. Maybe we could start a list of things (particularly expensive things) that are definites or would be good to have. Then we can figure out who has what. Or we could just bother the 1A bastards, but there seem to be so many of them, I just thought it might get crazy with too big a group. Anyway, just an idea, thought suggestions, or just tell me I am a fucking moron.

Oh and our "team" and motto: "NNR (NESR Newbie Racing) - We're coming for your trophies fuckers!" :

There are a bunch of teams on NESR... Not just the "1a Bastards".

Go bug them too!

I think banding together under an NESR banner is already happening...although informally... the logistics of such a large group is just a nightmare.
Having Satellite groups of 10 or less I think would be ideal... If there is somethig that effects the group we could have a vote from the Sateliite team Managers... Other than that the "Satelites could manage their own business.

Drama is what NESR is about.

But seriously think about it. For Noobs it is good to have some guidance at the track. I am VERY lucky I found the Hawk guys and they welcomed me with open arms. The help I recieved was invaluable.

As for the more experienced racers... sharing tools, equipment and limited supplies can help defer the costs of racing... plus it is cool to be a part of something.
If a team or group isn't for you that is fine, but stop putting it down. please.

I just thought the 1A thing was too many people already, thus too confusing to add more people. Also I figure the newbies pooling together would make getting started easier/ cheaper/ less overwhelming as we'd have a bunch of us together to figure out this madness that is racing.

If it's drama you want...

Team Thespians!

You can arrange the pit area using stage directions, and at night you can exchange makeup tips while discussing weather or not so and so made proper use of his diaphram when screaming during his trip into the T3 tires.

If you look at the map or look out from the 1a pits to the left there is alot of space with plenty of power.

I might have to rebuild my supersoaker... 6 gallons of water launched 50' in 2 seconds by 300psi. I play waterguns for keeps.

Most definitely, and I hear there are others, but they seem to hide in the garages :

Every time I see nexgixxerchic's posts I can't get over the fact that there's a 23 year old chick who rides a GSX-R. That's pretty damn hot right there.

It's a damn shame I'm married (and 37). ...wait, err...I mean, it's a good thing I'm married...
