2008 LRRS Number Assignments as of 01/19/2008

should I be worried the didn't include me in the latest set of numbers? i sent in my stuff months ago

Probably, I sent mine in after Christmas and I was in the list generated before "as of 1/13/08".
You might want to shoot The Don an email just to make sure he rec'd it.

Well new numbers and stuff cant get taken until after the 15th in case someone else had it and just hadnt renewed it for a bit, Id give them a few days to finish returning numbers, then assigning new ones. If its not in the next update I might make some phone calls.

yeah, but i didn't race/have a number last year... but i thought the 15th was when it was open for us new folks

Hah. This made me think of a funny story from this weekend. Completely off-topic, but whatever.

I was down in Atlanta all weekend for the IMS show. It was 20 degrees and snowing. Weird. Anyway Saturday night Roland Sands, myself, Doug (RSD guy), and this Atlanta chick all go out to a strip club that Roland had been itching to go to. Anyway, place was pretty mint but there were these 3 dildo's walking around with cigars, big aviator glasses, and sport jackets, totally trying to pull the big money rockstar angle. Girl in our group didn't like them at all and goes over to ask WTF they are wearing shades. Guy is like "I'm 24, in Grad School, and do what I want. Have you ever seen a party in LA? All of the guys wear shades like this out to the bars"

Now this was pretty funny considering who he was talking to. This girl used to live in Hollywood and was a actress, and the guys in the group (us) had been (or thrown) the parties he was referencing.

So she lets him know that "Hey dickhead, I LIVED IN HOLLYWOOD and the only guys that wear those shades out to the bars are fucking idiots"

Guy followed up with the ever-classic "Well, whatever, I make more money than those fags you are with anyway"

ahahhahaha. and that my friend, is a small slice into the LA-scene wannabe.
