the kid took me out going into T1 in a practice cuz he thought he was nicky haden...then later in his race sunday he highsided in 10...broke his ankle and totaled his bike.

there were like 5 complaints about him, they almost took his license but he crashed before they had a chance (or so i heard) haha.

i met him on the speedfreakinc forum, go figure

Yeah, you can do it... Clayton rode a 1000cc bike from the exit of turn 10 to the grass inside Nascar turn 4 once during a race & he's not an Expert.

I jettisoned the extra 500cc's before the NASCAR oval to keep me legal for Ptwins. Still managed a 4th!

Upon further research, Novices with 1000cc can ride in:

Heavyweight Supersport, Heavyweight Superbike, GTO and......wait.......that's all?

I don't think they can run heavyweight classes, just GTO. I thought the limit for heavyweight was 775cc 4 cyl liquid cooled.

It doesn't fall under the "all other configurations" catagory based on number of valves per cyl?

EDIT: NEVERMIND!

Shit man...I should start looking into riding a different bike...

The good news if that yes, you can run a 1000cc I4 as a Novice. The bad news is that LRRS only runs one Novice class (GTO) that it's legal in.
