Yes there is with ice underneath. Took a couple pics yesterday at the track. Not great, but you'll get the idea.
The folks seemed to be working pretty hard to clean the stuff up. Lets hope for a lot of sun, heat and NOMORE SNOW!

To those of you who talked about it being out in the open. White REFLECTS sun light. The top layer melts a bit and then insulates the rest below it. They are better off moving it around and exposing the lower layers that are aleady slushy.

This is nothing... the track will be ready in plenty of time.

A little rain, coupled with steady temps in the 45 plus range, and the only snow you'll see will be where they piled it up... out of the way.

Yes, I promise.

And I certainly remember snow past April at the track. One race weekend I woke up and had to shovel it off the top of my motorhome so we could stand up there and watch the races... which went off as scheduled later that day.



The only thing that would stop the LRRS race weekend or our trackdays would be a big snowstorm the last week of April. Barring that, the track will have it clear.

what they should do is have sled track days during the winter so they can make more money and lower the gate fees.
