Rookie Race on Sunday?

Rookie Race on Sunday?

I saw this schedule posted on the NHMS website:

NHMS | Schedule | LRRS Details

According to the NHMS site, there is a rookie race on Sunday. The 2008 schedule on lrrsracing only reflects a rookie race on Saturday. Can anyone confirm that there will be a Sunday rookie race? If so, will it hold true for all weekends, or just the first race weekend in April?

I would be more inclined to believe the LRRS site as opposed to the track site.

Rookie race is always on saturday and Mike Martiere sp? always win. He's wicked fast.

The rookie race is Sat. that way you can qualify for your license and race the weekend.

I just got off the phone with the Penguins, there is NO rookie race on Sunday, only Saturday. It's a typo on the NHMS website.

I think they give you a sheet with abailable numbers and you pick one.

You will get your number on Sat morning during registration. You can pick a number from a list of available numbers.
