sv race classes


Anyone know which classes I can run my sv in , it is all stock except pipe , rear shock, stock front end that has been stiffened up?

basically anything lightweight and up. i'm guessing this is your first season? as a novice, running the MW and HW classes is a means for more track time. in that class better corner speed on a smaller bike will get you around the track faster than a big bike parking it in the corners.

of course if your on a small bike and you park it in the corners, someone is going to eat your lunch with the big bikes.

Not first season, Raced last season ,last three weekends on an ex 500, but it is just way to small for me, I am 6'4" almost 300 lbs, this will be my first yr on the sv spent the winter building it .

are the common SV classes

you can race in anything except:
prod twins
super singles
motard
ULSB
