Crashed in T3

Motor blew oil on my rear tire, saved a highside in 1a, everything seemed fine from t2-3.

Then BAM! The oil was on the side of my tire, the crankcase cover plug backed out from a bolt on the inside pushing it out.

Looks like $150 in parts.

My hip and elbow took the impact, we'll see how the motor makes out.

Anyone have a race bike I can borrow?

Damn dude, that sucks. I have an 03 600rr I wont be using this weekend. It needs safety wire, an oil change, and tires. I think that is all. Ill be up tomorrow am and your welcome to it if needed, let me know

That's a generous offer, thanks bro!

I don't think we can drill through the oil drain plug that quickly. I'm leaning towards conerworking, thanks anyway.

Stop by our pits and say hello while you're up.

We pit at the top of the hill as you leave the tubes. We're on the left infield corner. I drive a blue Avalanche and will definately take a look at your 600. Is it GP shift?

Re: Crashed in T3

Drilling the oil plug is nothing, I did it in 5 minutes on my 636 while it was on the bike. I dont think I punctured the oil pan, but I cant figure out where that leak is coming from. (Kidding)
