Maybe, but I haven't seen it done in LRRS. I guess the slow riders just stood out.

You got that right, it's already starting. Prolly a good idea to have a co-ordinator for everything, but I doubt all the parties could reach a consensus on who to have.

Christina said it was ok to post their address, so here it is, for those who had asked for it:
Gerard Schifino
11 Fieldstone Drive
Coventry, RI 02816

I just got back from seeing him and he's making a remarkable recovery. His scarcasm is back, so you know he's feeling better. His x-rays are unbelievable. I think he's beaten Evil Knievel's record for the number of broken bones.

Keep the good thoughts going his way.

Last I heard it was a voluntary "X" but I did see a bunch last summer.

Yeah, it was offered as a suggestion in class Friday, and that was the last I heard about it. I don't recall anyone doing it.

The vintage races always had the new people put an X on their back.

Last year someone was running 1:38's for a fast time in AM LWSB. I mentioned this to people and not much if anything was done for the next race weekend. Do the math; People running 1:14 vs 1:38's. I need to get a shovel to pick up the poop that was left on the track while I was cornerworking. An X here would not have done anything. It was obvious enough in my eyes.

Re: Gman

Just got back from visiting Gerard in hospital. He says hi to all on NESR and he'll be online as soon as he gets a laptop and can type a few words.

He's doing ok. Sense of humour is a sharp as ever. He's in a lot of pain and is a bit frustrated as he can't really do anything for himself right now.

I'll be seeing him later this week.

Re: Gman

I went to visit Gerard on Friday evening. He was doing MUCH better. He was much more chatty and we had a good talk about everything and anything. He is still in plenty of pain, but he has an easy button to summon a pusher with a couple of pain pills every couple of hours.

If anyone has a way to throw the last couple of motogp rounds and world superbike rounds on a DVD, he would REALLY appreciate that.

He went to UMASS medical center (Worcester) today for surgery on his wrist, arm and shoulder (all at once). He will be there for a couple of days and hopefully be back in hospital in RI on Wednesday or Thursday. He says hi to everyone and wished everyone a successful race weekend. He thinks he will make it to watch some races next month (Cristina may disagree).

I'll keep you guys updates next time I see him.

I think I have them stored on DVR, not sure how or if I can even transfer them to DVD? He's certainly welcomed to come over and watch them when he's feeling up to it

I'll give you the mailing address or you can swing by to visit gerard with me or something.

He'll probably take you up on that. He's going to be in the hospital for a while yet, though.

Cool! I probably only live 3 or 4 miles away.
I just checked the DVR and have WSB races 1+2 from Netherlands and race 1 so far from Monza, and race 2 should be recorded tomorrow.

MotoGP, I have Spain, Portugal, and Shanghai.

Both MotoGP and WSB are programmed to record the season
