Re: Gman

Hi everyone, this is Cristina, Gerard's wife, I am sitting here with him at UMASS in Worcester, MA where he just has surgery to fix his arm and his collar bone. Gerard is in good spirits, he's having some pain, but is getting good meds for that. He is being well taken care of. He is going to be in the hospital for a couple of days, but should return to the Rehab facility by weeks end. Gerard is getting movement back in his arm and has been able to walk a bit. He has made great progress since the accident. Things are looking positive for him in the long run. His neck surgery that he had in Concord was a huge sucess and we thank everyone who came to visit and all of your support.

Re: Gman

I'm late to this Derek but I have the first 4 races of the season from motoGP on my computer with the eurosport announcers... do you need them still?

I can burn the files to a DVD, or if you need them to be able to play on a DVD player, I can try to figure it out...

Re: Gman

Glad to hear G-man is feeling better... couldn't find a nicer guy around. I say this despite the fact that he went from being slower than me to faster than me in a span of about, 3 race weekends way back when (2003?). I'm sure the guy could do 1:18's on just about anything. Feel better bro.

Re: Gman

That's what we all wanted to hear

I wouldn't be surprised if he had them do a "light-weighting" exercise while he was under, in search of more speed... like replacing everything w/ titanium... hehe

Heal up Gman.

ATTENTION IN THE HADDOCK! - Auction For G-Man

Just a reminder that there will be an auction conducted by Jerry Wood on Saturday evening, July 19, to benefit Gerard Schifino. If you have anything to donate, contact Doug Scheer. Otherwise, bring yourself and $ to buy things!

Re: Gman

Best part of that auction was how everything motorcycle related was basically going well below cost, like the gift certificates, tires, penguin school things, but the beer was going for triple if not quadruple the street value. Especially that corona cooler thing that went for something like 300 bucks.
Just goes to show that we're all drunks, and despite what the public perception might be, the LRRS family are all good people.
