Re: Hey Doc

3.0 FLAGS AND COMMUNICATIONS

Waving Yellow Flag - indicates hazards on or near the track of a serious
nature. No passing is allowed from the flag stations displaying the
waving yellow flag until past the incident. Riders who violate this rule
will be assessed either a stop & go, a one lap penalty or a fine
dependent upon circumstances. The violation must be reported by a
Corner Marshall or Official. Rider complaints may be considered if the
Referee believes it is warranted and justifiable. Two complaints on any
given weekend from any source will result in a one event suspension.
Under no circumstance will a pass for position be allowed.

...this is going to be fun...

Re: Hey Doc

the thing that REALLY makes me chuckle, is that Doc didn't pass me earlier....

I backed WAY off when I saw the waving yellow in 10 as I was coming through turn 9 as it's so damn blind coming through 10 & I take a wide line.... then i got back on it going into 11 but backed way off going THROUGH 11 as I saw the guy in 12.

Doc shoulda passed me WAY earlier

Re: Hey Doc

Dunno, sounded like kind of a grey area as you described it. Didn't you say he was right beside you as you passed the downed rider? Seems like that would obey the letter of the law (no passing until past the incident), if not necessarily the intent of it (lets not cause another incident). But

Re: Hey Doc

The main concern was that Doc never saw either of the frantically waving, brightly colored yellow flags...

He also didn't see the guy in turn 12 that was STOPPED on the racing line, BROADSIDE, pointed towards the NASCAR wall, trying to re-start his motard until he was already initiating his pass, which he made on my inside, BETWEEN myself & the guy on the motard, who I was trying to give plenty of room, since he was pointed towards me & kicking.

Ahh. Yes, that might be a little disconcerting.

Um... wouldn't that have brought out a red, or corner workers dragging him off the line to try and restart where it is safe(r)?

Re: Hey Doc

It coulda gone either way but it was the last lap, the guy was a little low on the racing line, plenty of room to go around the outside (or the inside if you cut it really hard) & you could see him WAY back from the entrance to turn 11 (Unless your eyes were fixated on my rear tire )

I dunno, maybe in a novice race it may have gotten red flagged but for whatever reason, in this particular instance, in an Am/Ex race, it didn't.

They assume AM/EXs know how to ride a motorcycle, especially if theres plenty of room to see someone in trouble.
Unless you target fixate too much like I tend to do. In fact, Pete I saw your entire failed jump over the fountains at caesers palaca imitation you did. Fortunatly I was low enough to avoid you regardless.

why is "jusus free you" still racing then? He just about traded paint with me last weekend when he passed me, full tilt, on the 'sidewalk' section of "pit out"

then as i watched a race form the side, i see him look behind, and intenitionally cut off any body near him.

im not the first and wont be the last, to notice this guy is going to hurt somebody!

Re: Hey Doc

I saw that paint job on pre-grid.

If someone is making poor decisions it's time to remove them from the einvironment. We have enough to worry about.

no wonder he does the thank Jesus move and points to the sky when he finishes, he's thankful for making it out alive, not winning....

Wow, thats just fantastic. Honestly, I know youre not exaggerating and it kinda blows me away that in this CLUB RACING environment someone takes it either that seriously, or not seriously enough to make people nervous.

denno - not my style either... i've been stuffed and hit before, because of mistakes, but hey... well all signed up for racing and we all make them.

disregarding the value of life and riding like you don't care who you kill is across the line. the fact that he's tryig to advertise something holy and then rides like that makes it even worse.
