Looks like I can take the class, or do the 'Track Ride' which will have control riders I can follow to learn the line, or just cheap out, do the open practice and hope I can get it all sorted on my own. : )

Any tech requirements that differ from LRRS I should make plans to deal with?

you will need a lower fairing. thats the only thing i had to do different on the EX going from LRRS to CCS Se

thanks, i knew you and chad were in it. thats also the race i got taken out by a expert in the bowl

Dude. I dropped 6 teeth on the rear from loudon gearing on the hawk. Dropping teeth on the front would not be wise.

Stock gearing on my GS is 16/39, which rigs it for a 145mph top speed.

It's a stock GS500. It's all of 39hp, in a 400lb chassis.

If it hits 145mph, it's via JATOs or a tow rope.

15/39 is 136mph max
16/44 is 128mph max (Current gearing)

I don't think the bike can pull 128mph, I'd rathe not find out the wrong way though.

MPG if we are lucky @65mph= 9
Tank size; leaves 3.5 backup= 23
Miles/tank= 207
Gas / gallon GUESSING here= $4.50
$ per fill up= $103.50
Miles to Daytona and back= 2522
# of Fill ups= 12
Total fuel cost= $1,261.00
# of bikes= 4
ESTIMATED Per person cost GAS ONLY= $315.25



And if there is some way to squeeze another bike
# of bikes= 5
ESTIMATED Per person cost GAS ONLY= $252.20
