Re: track i'll be racing this weekend

well that's a bit of a fast track, eh?

That guy's got some motor, too.... I like the set-up for the pass at 5:00 by the guy on the yellow bike.

Dude, Good luck. Remember that you can't push to the same level on a new track. You need something in reserve when something unexpected happens.

Yeah, like wildlife. On the track at race pace I've seen deer, ground hogs, fox (got cut in half by a bike..... nasty!), rabbits, snakes, and squirrels on the race line. Summit ROCKS, have fun and good luck!

One time, at a NESBA day, I saw them roll two ambulances. Sirens wailing. 'Holy shit', I thought. 'This can't be good.'

Turns out the were just chasing deer off the track.

Last week, at Calabogie, someone ran over a turtle. Cheesh, like it ran out in front of him....

Summit main is fun but I never felt really comfortable there. Jefferson is a nice little track for me on my 750ss. Haven't been since they've been re-paved.

Haven't been to summit since they repaved and never on two wheels but that is a really fun track. All sorts of run-off room too.

Re: track i'll be racing this weekend

the track is all sorts of fucked up. 1,5,6,10 all have bad torn up asfault and sealer. the layout is great, they need to repave and let the track cure for a good month or so
