Yeah I mean he is a good rider but the speed he had over Spies was
just amazing in both Race 1 and 2. Maybe this explains part of it.

Given the points battle they are in, and the general breed of these guys I don;t see them holding back.

I don't know if their bike are the same, nor how much the riders know about their bike's setup. That'd be interesting info to have.

Factories are used to getting away with murder in the AMA. Times are a changing.

Do I think Mladin would still be competing for the win without the 'funny' crank. YUP.

Do I think the OEMs have been pulling 'shenanigans' for years and years knowing the AMA really never punished them. YUP.

sorry to hear that any team/ factory/ sponsored rider has to 'getaway' with anything. Esp when we hear about / and sometimes are around the Wood bros and thier own struggles and triumphs. Alex thanks for the inside look at what they go thru.

Yea... I found that odd that they didn't go into both bikes... It also doesn't make any sense. They are on the same TEAM. Reason would dictate that what they do to one, they do to all...

All three Yosh bikes were torn down and the chassis of all three bikes were wheeled back to the team trucks without motors in them.

That's a shame. I'm sure that it was done without Mat's direct knowledge. So a decision by his team, just cost him any shot at this year's championship. FIRE SOMEONE!!!

As it was, he was going to be 1 point away, if he captured all of the available points for the rest of the season. With Ben getting all the second place points. It was gonna be fuggin close... Not now. Don't get me wrong, I like Ben, both as a rider and a drinking buddy. But I wanted to see Mat get one more...



So, does anyone get the first place points, or do they just fall by the wayside, with Ben getting points for second?

I'm with you Oxx. Remember, Mladin had his shot at being great -- he was a GP rider for a short time. The fact that most people don't know that should tell you how well he did. The only reason he has won as many times as he has is that the Yosh bikes are miles ahead on development compared to the other bikes. Don't get me wrong, he and Spies (and Hayden) are very talented riders, but things would be a little different if they ran World Superbike spec machines in the AMA.
