vanson=bomb proof...in all my testing i broke before the suit failed in very case...including one very long very fast slide.

i made it through about, i think 4.5 race weekends before i broke my leathers in, lowside style in 6...the leathers didn't even look crashed in.

i broke them in afew more times for good mesure...still haven't been back to vanson for repairs. though they may go this winter to fix the dime sized hole in the chest and slightly frazzled waist strap.

Let's see....had my 1pc for at least a year. Dragged a knee for the first time last year. Did my 4 track days and a number of races this year.

Hit the pavement in T2 in the wet a couple months ago and then REALLY hit the pavement in the dry going into T1 last race weekend.

Kobe Misano 1pc- All panels are in good shape still. Needed a few stitches in the left butt-cheek region, a few stitches in the left knee-puck region and I have to get the letters repaired on the left forearm. I have a guy who's fixing them for 15 bux....minus the lettering.

FWIW; I am continually impressed with the Kobe products and their performance thus far.

first new spidi suit lasted a year and a half, and the moto gp I have now lasted about eight months. the stitching was burnt through on both suits, and the moto gp has a dime sized hole ground through the elbow. I've been lucky that all my crashes have been gentle low-sides, so the damage has been from abrasion to this point.

My suit and my boots I have had since early 2006 and I crashed in turn 6 on my first trackday. My A* GP Tech gloves were done after that, but the suit and boots are still solid. These have also taken countless low speed lowsides on my mini bike.
