In addition to NHMS, my 2011 race program involves visiting other venues with at least one trip to VIR. I have not personally committed myself to any of the dates as CCS/ ASRA have a tentative schedule posted as I type this however I am gauging interest in possible ride sharing or perhaps offering equipment transport to certain venues in 2011.
The following tracks under consideration are:
NHMS
NJMP
Summit Point
VIR
If others wish to expand their race program beyond NHMS in 2011 but within the interest of minimizing the financial impact to your wallet, post up.
bergs, my plans next season:
LRRS schedule
njmp ccs races
VIR endurance race
EDIT** summit endurance
We should talk more
Yea I'm down for at least 2

About a year ago, a few of us were kickin around the idea of doing the 8 hrs of Daytona at the end of this season but they took it off the calendar.![]()

Are the aforementioned endurance races on either the ASRA or CCS schedule? I didn't see anything that stood out in that respect.

I'll ride anything, just keep me in mind. I've been dying to do one. They did the last one at NHMS the year before I started racing

I'd be looking at VIR for something like that however my bike is devoid of quick release hubs as well as a quick-fill gas tank. Not sure how the endurance racing guidelines are set up but I imagine at least one rider change is required in addition to the likely requirement for fuel. Tires, I'm guessing, can be managed enough depending on the distance that needs to be covered during the race.
Would be pretty cool to have a group of us running in multiple classes.
Pigman - Your thoughts?
Anyone else?
Yea....I would be down for it for sure Probably could Take me and 2-3 others split the gas and were gone>>>>I would love to and indurance race also, so lets see what's out there and plan around the Race..

Roland, it would be good to see you at a race track again on your 125. Schubie is really quite the haul, compared to Summit Point or VIR. Schubie is definitely still on my list of track to ride someday. Road America, Grattan and Barber were more fun to ride than I thought was ever possible...
Endurance Races are way too much fun... I'd be game to do another one someday. Have nice quick-fill gas dump can I can bring along.

If you've never been to VIR, it will absolutely take your breath away. The facilities are gorgeous and the track is excellent.

I will be racing in NJ this year.
I will not be riding in any endurance races, but I would be happy to crew for a team.
I've got a full size 4 door truck, so I can comfortably transport 2 bikes, riders and gear. I may be able to take on more riders and gear, but wouldn't have any additional room for bikes.
I am considering racing NJMP the entire season, primarily because of the friday practice (rather than thursday) and, errrrrr, ......... sweet thunderbolt track! I'm in the Albany area and have a extended cab truck and either a two place open trailer or a 4 place enclosed. I would love to find 1 or 2 guys who would like to do Friday thru Sunday and split expenses and driving. The tuff part is the ride home Sunday night as I get up at 3:30 to go to work. I am also considering cots in the enclosed trailer (does NJMP have showers?) to save money, as motel cost for the weekend would buy a tire. Any interested parties? Will also be doing most weekend TPM trackdays at Thunderbolt, a few at Pocono and may venture to Summit once or twice.
Miss on you pister, go back off in your own jackyard! No ,I'm dot nyxlesic!!!
all of the ASRA Team Challenge events are 2 hours. WERA at Summit is a 6hr and a 4 hour at VIR.

My schedule def. involves more than LRRS this year. The next vehicle and the attendance of my two normal partners in race crime is still in the air, but I'll certainly be seeing some other tracks. I probably wont know if im bumming a ride, offering a ride, riding with AJ & Kid, etc. until it's pretty close, unfortunately.
Regardless, look forward to seeing you at other spots Paul. Lets keep in touch so we can pit together, if nothing else.![]()
