I believe that Marco deserves a tribute thread of his own. So why not?
Post your Super Sic pictures here.
You can also pay tribute to Simoncelli by posting on MotoGp.com: http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2011/p...rco+simoncelli

I just watched the start of the Sepang race yesterday on DVR...man...such a sad sight and I can only imagine how Edwards and especially Rossi are feeling. Horrible accident.

Fausto Gressini on Simoncelli:
"I have so many images that come to mind of these two years together. Marco was spontaneous, always did what he thought was right, with a heart of gold and always happy. I do not remember seeing him angry once...
"A special boy who came from a special family. He and his father were particularly close, like brothers."
This is just nuts.
Great tallent. He was cleaning up and setteling in his program to be an magnificant rider for the future.
RIP

Such a nasty shot. I'm still not accepting this fully, half expecting to see him banging Pedrosa out of the way at the next race... MotoGP lost a lot more than a rider.... they lost part of their soul with Marco. His light was blindingly brilliant, I hope he's drifting the apexes up there right now.
he was pretty goofy. part of the reason I was a fan of his. always seemed like he was having fun and didn't take things overly serious. His exuberance got him called dangerous but it seemed like he listened to the advice and calmed down a touch and it was all coming together for him to start possibly taking some wins. Very sad to see him go because the series needed his wild, fun, carefree personality.

Wanted a Simcelli tribute wallpaper, so I threw a few of the images from here up into one collage type thing. My artistic skills are not exactly award winning but it's something.

Kills me he's gone. From the first race of this season I've been rooting for him and was so excited for his finish at Phillip Island. Couldn't believe what I saw in the start of that race last weekend, still can't. I don't even know if I can watch the last race. It's almost pointless, Casey got the championship which I was happy about because I'm a fan of his but without Marco there...it just won't be the same.
Rest in Peace Marco. We'll miss you down here.
I really feel for Colin too. Last year Peter Lenz was taken far to soon at Indy and that hit Colin hard, and now Marco which he was involved in through no fault of his own, wrong place wrong time. Poor guy. I hope he doesn't retire because I still like watching him race. Thoughts are with him, all the MotoGP family and especially Marco's family though this trying time.
