Getting set up or racing?

I'm trying to get everything set up for racing next season now so i'm not rushing around at the last minute. I have a pretty good idea what i need but may be looking for any little bits of advice to help make the weekend easier.
Other than basic tools and bike spare parts, what should i be thinking of getting and bringing with me?
I can't afford a extra set of wheels rite now for rain tires so if it's shitty out, i'll either take it real easy or just not race

I bought some extra extention cords and some of those quartz lights for the pit area. I'm also trying to make a RV style cannopy for the side of my ambulance. The ambulance will prolly be my house and tool box for the weekend as well.
I'm just kinda looking for ideas and tips to make the weekend fun and easy to set up, race, then pack up and go home?
Thanks for any help

Well, believe me you don't have to rush you have a good 7 months to get everything you need for next year. If you get everything you need now you will looking at it all winter and say to yourself "when is April".

At the risk of sounding like a DICK, things'll be a bit different next year regarding this. I'll let Degs explain...

I hate doing things last minute, my SV is getting trailored out to a guy near Boston in the beginning of December for some fork internal work, rear spring swap and geometry set-up. Already wired up my SPA tach and installed a new subframe. I'll be ready to race by Christmas.
The down side to all of this, I'LL HAVE 4 F#%^&NG MONTHS TO WAIT TO RIDE THE DAMN THING!

Yep, we will have far too many peeps racing in the NESR team this year to have any pit crew actually working on other bikes during the racing day. Evenings are fine, but during the racing day we will be asking all of our crew to concentrate on the team bikes.

R7; re-think that extra rims deal, it may be the most important spare I did NOT have this year.

Tire warmers.

Best place to get them is at a website. Try www.racemotorcycles.com; www.wera.com

Coffee, because you will be standing in line at the reg windows in the morning.

Easy-up.

Crew assignments will be the responsibility of the duly appointed Crew Chief, whos position is assigned based on consensus of the talent and team manager, correct? Said Crew Chief has the prerogative to define the support model best suited for success of the talent being supported. The value proposition for that support model may include assisting regionally associated talent in a Quid Pro Quo arrangement. I for one can envision a paradigm where support is provided on an as-needed bases prioritized by race entry position with little or no concern monarchism boundaries. We need to use Possibility Thinking (tm) to develop our support model to ensure maxumum success for all talent in a non-sectarian encoumbered format.
Just my 2 cents...
