Saturday, 5th Two-up Ride...

If the planets all align properly, Cheryl & I may get out Saturday for a little two-up jaunt. The only destination I have in mind is north or west. No particulars, just gonna wing it and decide when we get there...

May last only a coupla hours, may take all honkin' day. Again, that won't be decided until the time comes...

I'm itchin' to ride, she's dyin' to go for a ride. So, we'll ride.

Moderate pace I guess would be the best decription. All riding levels welcome. Meeting spot will be determined based on interest...

I live a couple of block from trinity high school.

I also spoke with my wife and we are all set for the 2 up ride on Saturday. Just give me a time and location to meet you at and we will see you then.

I / we are definitely up for this, but my better (smarter) half keeps reminding me of the work we gotta do to get the house on the market this month. I'm slated to paint this Saturday... but may see about payin' somebody to do it. if so, we're there... I'll keep an eye on this thread...

No shit?! Before my folks moved us out to Bedford, we lived over on Concord St., across from the old fire station. Not sure if that fire house is even still standing?

FYI-You don't HAVE TO ride with your significant other to join this ride. That was just to give everyone an idea of the pace we'll be on...

Also an FYI-'2-up' for me doesn't mean total wussness. I go as fast as me missus will 'allow'. She usually lets me know by a well placed shot to the kidney area...

Here's my initial thought on destination: Thinking Sandwich, NH, then taking the Maine/NH border road back on down south. Once we get on south to a more common road, we'll decide the rest...

I WAS thinking Latham, NY for some lunch. But time constraints are gonna prevent that...

RandyO? legalspeed? bentbryan? scootertrash? lrrs167? You in?

Not sure, yet. I will let ya know. Because of my little trouble with LEO, last weekend, I kinda wanna take care of the bizness at home to stay on the good side of the wifey. I need to make up for being bad by trying to be good, at least for a week.

After that I can go back to my trouble-making ways!

I'll post up or PM ya closer to the weekend.

Latham, NY... is the food good there or something...

Saturday is kinda sucky day for riding, too many soccer moms and other Saturday errand runners... it's the bussiest day of the week.

probably not.

I would like to organize a long sunday ride for later on this summer to NY.. but a little further north, cross over at Crown Point Bridge.. that kinda tells you the route getting there, then a few county road twisties I know not far across the bridge.

Okay. Here's my tentative plan for Saturday...

We're planning on leaving my house around 10:00. I'd like to go north up around the Big Lake. Once north of the lake, I'm thinking of hitting a little road that'll take us through a little notch (probably NOT the one your thinking of)...

Then I'd like to head over to this sweet - but some time heavily travelled - little road that runs along the NH/ME border. It's the same road I crashed on back on Mother's Day Y2K...

Once we get southerly, we can decide who's gotta head in which direction...

I'm gonna TRY to keep the majority of the roads the less of the travelled routes. But being up in that area this time of year, it may be unavoidable to an extent. And there's a chance that we'll be pulling some 'U-ies', as I'm SURE I'll miss a coupla turns...

Some of you I've never ridden w/ before, so we'll have a quick discussion beforehand about what we all expect from one another...

I'm open for meeting spots...
