A couple of us are doing some Berkshires & southern VT this Sunday. We'll be meeting near Mass Pike exit 4 & I91 exit 15, starting out at 9:01am. Our random route will take us westward and northward, stopping for lunch on VT Rt30, before heading back south. PM me if you'd like more info.

I was going to post to see if anyone wanted to ride Sunday morning. A couple of my friends are busy at Laconia (I wasn't able to make it up there).

So if anyone wants to roll with me out thru central / western MA, they are welcome to come. I'm about 3 minutes from 495 exit 23 (rt. 9 exit). One of the usual runs I do: Backroad riding from my place 'till I hit 68...then to 32 to 122 to 202. I usually take a quick rest in Barre (32) or at a scenic point on 202.

While on 202 I sometimes head out to Amherst / 63 before looping back (longer ride)

start heading back on rt 9 to 148 back to 122.

There is a nice breakfast place out in Amherst that we sometimes stop at...if anyone wanted to do this we could. I just need to be back in town by about 1:30 (have a hockey game at 3). I'd like to leave between 7-9am. Sorry for the short notice. I'll be going regardless.

F' no! The weekend is the ONLY time I pretty much get to sleep in and fully rest, I fail to understand the "Sunday morning ride" mentality, what, you all go to bed at 9pm on a Saturday???

Naw, it just means a few cups of coffee to get going in the morning. I am definitely NOT a morning person. I'm up all hours of the night and will only have a few hours of sleep before riding on Sunday.

But there is definitely something to be said for catching the roads in the morning. I usually have other stuff to do during the day as well...so it kinda forces me to get up early if I want to get anything done besides riding. Plus my game is kinda smack-dab in the middle of the afternoon. Oh well.

If anyone wants to sacrifice a little sleep to ride, let me know.

ok squid you dont need any more than 7-8 hrs sleep. say you go to bed at 12, you can get up at 8-9am. you jump in shower and be ready by 10am then can meet somewhere within hr by 11am. hows that timeline?

I'm definetly not a morning person either, but riding is the one thing i can always wake up early for.

Only 2 things I'll wake up early for:

money

sex

and not necessarily in that order either...

better yet, simply slowly bounce a basketball in the street in front of my house. For some reason, the frequency of that sound permeates through the entire house and drives me absolutely nuts. ESPECIALLY in the morning...

More than likely leaving New Bedford about 7 AM. Going to slab it to make time through Mass. Head to the Weir's for a bit, then to the track for the day. Can always meet with some one along the way....

Don't think Double"D" will be riding the ZX10 Sunday the round trip is too much for her back in one day. Thanks to a car accident about 4 years ago that an old man broad sided her. Her back has never been the same.
