ok, i thought i'd give this another shot. i'd like to try and get some gals together for a ride sometime in the next month or so. it's been tried in the past but there's never been a decent turn out (ummm, admittedly i never showed up either) anyway, i do NOT want to discriminate against the guys so all are welcome, but it would be pretty cool if the women outnumbered the men for once
i was thinking of maybe tying to meet at motomarket and ride out from there. i think a couple of you guys (half squid, trackdog...) know some decent roads/routes in that area so maybe you'd be interested in leading or at least helping me plan a route??? please i was thinking maybe the last weekend in april or mid may?? any suggestions?

Sunday is supposed to be nice, my friend Liz wants to ride so we'll be doing something slow and fun. I agree it would be nice if the girls outnumbered the guys for once! Keep us posted I'm sure she'd like to catch up with a small group as she is a newer rider.

Some folks from Texas just held an underwear ride, where all the riders showed up wearing just their underbritches.

ok, we should probably decide on a date to do this so you can make arrangements for sitters because it would be great if you guys could make it.

But I am a brand new rider so Im not quit sure if Im up for a group ride just yet.

jaynnus - i think i'm leaning towards the may 14th date (odds are better for warmer weather).

jaynnus - you've got a bit of a ride just to meet us (i'm about 1 hour from motomarket) so what time would be good for you?

I probably cannot make it there much earlier than 10ish. I have never been to that area, so I am not sure of the route I will take or the distance, but according to mapquest its an hour and 3/4's.

Are you still planning to go to the track since this is on a race weekend?

Thanks for the offer...only we planned on that pillow fight to be at the 'second' stop...not the last....sorry!!!
