Yep, I've been riding back and forth to work all week. I used to check weather.com before riding in until I realized that A) I could fit a set of rain gear into my bike trunk, and B) weather.com and the actual weather have very little to do with each other. It's kind of like if I made a website called lotterynumbers.com and every day I typed a bunch of numbers into the website; entertaining, but not statistically significant.

I'd rather be cold wet and riding, than warm dry and driving.

DING!

I took the bike again today. I even found a BARREN road to ride to work on that is just about the same distance as my normal congested route! I wasn't stuck behind someone for a good 20 minutes.

And it has some twisties!!!!!

Today is a good day already

We need a :tinyviolin: emoticon

but I think that's a cello. "World's smallest cello" just doesn't have the same ring to it. Maybe because it's two octaves lower

Magnetic tank bags will, infact, stay put during highway whoolies.

Apparently, you are a better motorcyclist than I.

I HATE being cold on a bike. If its warm, I'll happily deal with rain, but being cold totally ruins the experience for me.

So, we should all be so lucky to have such a selection of bikes in our garages. One for each day of the week, perhaps?

I'm not complaining because I can choose from two fine sporting machines, myself. However, if I could I would have one for each day of the week as follows:

Sunday:KTM 990 SuperDuke (I know it's not, yet, available in USA)
Monday:MV Agusta F4 Mille
Tuesday:Aprilia Tuono R
Wednsdayucati 999R
Thursday:KTM RC8 (another unobtainable, but I want!)
Friday:Triumph Speed Triple
Saturday:Yamaha R7 (give it up, R7!)

But of course, I thought that was simply assumed.

So here are the other bikes I would have, if money were no object:

KTM 625 SMC
KTM 525 SMR

And, a few racing bikes:
Aprilia RS 250
Yamaha R6
My Ducati 748 would be converted for racing only
Of course, the 525 SMR would see many track days.

I am a dreamer........

Chris, you need a Gerbing heated liner. Then, if you get cold due to rain, you plug it in and WHAM! You are HOT!

I LOVE mine....not ever gunna be on the bike without at least having it with me. I got a storage bin under my seat it fits very nicely into

Do you have to take out your full size can of WD40 as well as your briefcase to fit it in????

Poke away funny guy, but I got news for you! I got a set of DP208's on their way for the Gap. Remember how decent I was last year with old tires and a loose swingarm?

It's ok, me and KB won't mind pulling over to wait for ya

I only work on tuesdays and thursdays, and I usually sleep at the girlfriends the night before so I can't take the bike. Today she slept at my dorm and I watched the news the night before and checked the weather today and it looked like rain so I said eff it and didnt take the bike. Tomorrow however I will be riding from 1-5ish.
